This site links to free patterns which we have tested using UK Double Knitting (DK) yarn and 4mm hooks or needles

All photos belong to me and are of my work unless explicitly credited, where people have preferred to be anonymous, they are referred to as A Woolly Friend

We'll keep adding patterns, if you have a tried and tested square that you love, please email us a link to the pattern, a clear photo of one you have made and notes of any amendments you have made to make it 6 or 12 inches square and we'll add it to the site
